Bhubaneswar, Odisha : Shri Mandir Hundi relocation is now underway, ensuring smoother access for devotees and resolving longstanding issues with Dhadi Darshan. Law, Works, and Forest Minister Shri Prithviraj Harichandan announced that the Chief Minister approved this major step, allowing authorities to relocate the Hundi and streamline temple management.
The Shree Mandir administration, in consultation with the Puri District Collector, will finalize the Hundi’s new location. Following this, officials will begin trial arrangements for Dhadi Darshan. The Shri Mandir Hundi relocation aims to reduce wait times, improve crowd management, and maintain safety and convenience for all visitors.
In addition, the Minister confirmed that on September 23, the Ratnabhandar ornaments will be securely transferred into the temple vault. The Shree Mandir administration and a high-level committee will supervise the Ratnabhandar transfer to ensure proper management and security. These initiatives highlight the administration’s commitment to modernizing temple operations while preserving tradition.
Authorities will implement strict protocols during the Shri Mandir Hundi relocation, including fire safety measures, emergency medical support, and assistance for visitors at nearby stations. Officials from Shri Mandir, the district administration, and the high-level committee will monitor the arrangements to guarantee smooth execution.
