Lahore : Pakistan will host Sri Lanka for a three-match ODI series in November at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium before the T20I Tri-series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Monday. The ODI fixtures will be played from November 11 to 15, followed by the T20I Tri-series from November 17 to 29, featuring Afghanistan as the third team. Notably, this will be Pakistan’s first-ever T20I tri-series at home.
This ODI series marks Sri Lanka’s first bilateral ODI assignment in Pakistan since 2019, when they played three games, with Sarfaraz Ahmed’s side winning 2-0 after the Karachi opener was washed out. Sri Lanka also last featured in Pakistan during the 2023 Men’s ODI Asia Cup in Lahore.
The announcement comes amid a packed home season for Pakistan, starting with two ICC World Test Championship 2025-27 matches against South Africa — in Lahore (October 12-16) and Rawalpindi (October 20-24). Both teams will then meet in three T20Is from October 28 to November 1, followed by three ODIs at Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium from November 4-8. The ground will host an ODI after 17 years, last staging one in April 2008.
Following that, Pakistan will play the three ODIs against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi before entering the tri-series. Matches of the tri-series will be split between Rawalpindi and Lahore, with the final set for November 29 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
With South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Afghanistan touring within two months, Pakistan is set for a blockbuster international home calendar, giving fans an extended run of top-class cricket.
