Rourkela, Odisha : The Jharsuguda senior men’s hockey team registered a commanding 5-0 victory over Jagatsinghpur in the opening round of the Senior Men’s Inter-District Hockey Championship, organized by the Hockey Association of Odisha at the Birsa Munda and Panposh Hockey Stadiums in Rourkela.
Jharsuguda dominated from the start, with Puran Kerketta stealing the spotlight through a superb hat-trick that left Jagatsinghpur struggling to respond. Prafulla Kullu and Shibranus Balla added one goal apiece, ensuring a comprehensive win for the side.
