New Delhi : IndiGo will resume operations from Terminal 2 (T2) at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport starting October 26, following a temporary shift earlier this year for maintenance work. The airline said the move is aimed at improving passenger convenience and streamlining airport operations. Indigo India updates reflect a commitment to enhancing travel experience.
Under the revised terminal plan, all flights numbered 6E 2000 to 6E 2999 will operate to and from Terminal 2. Flights 6E 5000 to 6E 5999, along with all international departures, will operate from Terminal 3, while all other domestic flights will continue from Terminal 1.
“With this plan, we aim to enhance customer convenience and improve airport efficiency,” IndiGo said, urging passengers to check flight numbers and terminal details before traveling, as schedules may adjust with terminal changes.
This reopening marks the resumption of normal operations across all three terminals, following the April 2025 temporary relocation of flights from T2 to T1 due to maintenance. Frequent flyers should follow Indigo India updates for the latest information.
In addition to domestic operations, IndiGo is expanding its international footprint. Starting November 10, the airline will launch daily direct flights between New Delhi and Guangzhou, China, using its Airbus A320 fleet. Departing Delhi at 9:45 PM, the flight reaches Guangzhou at 4:40 AM, with the return leg departing 5:50 AM and arriving in Delhi at 10:10 AM.
This initiative restores vital air connectivity between India and China, following a long pause since 2020. IndiGo also restarted daily Kolkata-Guangzhou flights on October 26, becoming one of the first Indian carriers to resume direct services to China.
Passengers can stay updated on schedules, terminals, and flight info via the IndiGo website or mobile app.
