Balasore : India successfully conducted the test-firing of its short-range ballistic missile ‘Pralay-6’ at 9:45 AM on Monday from Dr. Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the missile boasts a strike range of 150 to 500 km, capable of precision targeting using advanced navigation systems.
The successful launch not only enhances India’s tactical strike capabilities but also marks a significant milestone in indigenous missile technology under the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). Defense experts consider ‘Pralay-6’ a vital asset for battlefield superiority.
