New Delhi: India’s skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has turned her World Cup victory into a lifelong memory with a new tattoo the World Cup trophy etched on her arm. TheHarmanpreet Kaur’s victory tattoo also includes ‘2025’ and ‘52’, representing the year of India’s maiden win and the margin of victory.
Sharing a picture of her ink on Instagram, Harmanpreet wrote, “Forever etched in my skin and my heart. Waited for you since Day 1 and now I will see you every morning and be grateful.”
Her emotional gesture follows India’s historic triumph, where she became the first female captain to lead the Women in Blue to an ICC title, ending a 25-year wait for glory.
Speaking after the win, Harmanpreet reflected on her journey: “As a young girl, I dreamt of wearing the blue jersey. You never know where destiny takes you just believe it can happen.”
