Brahmapur, Odisha : Gunshots rang out once again in Brahmapur, as a youth was shot in Shastri Nagar under Badabazar police limits. The assailants allegedly called the victim, identified as S. Runa Achari, out of his house before firing at him. Two rounds were fired, with one bullet hitting his left shoulder.
The miscreants fled the scene immediately after the attack. The critically injured youth was rushed to MKCG Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Police suspect the incident to be a result of personal enmity. Badabazar Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
