Bhubaneswar : A swift and proactive response to the worsening flood situation, Odisha Chief Minister Shri Mohan Majhi today took to the skies to survey the severely affected districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Keonjhar. The aerial reconnaissance aimed to gauge the ground reality and assess the scale of destruction caused by the relentless floodwaters.
Joining the Chief Minister were key members of his cabinet, including Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Shri Suresh Pujari, Higher Education, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Shri Suryabanshi Suraj, and Special Relief Commissioner Shri Deo Ranjan Kumar Singh.
During the aerial inspection, the team reviewed submerged villages, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted connectivity in multiple regions. CM Majhi emphasized the state’s commitment to ensuring immediate relief, efficient rehabilitation, and long-term resilience-building for the affected communities.
