In celebration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Odisha is set to host a grand mass run on September 21, 2025, as part of the nationwide “Nasha Mukt Bharat” (Drug-Free India) campaign.
The event will commence at 7:00 AM from Kalinga Stadium and conclude at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar.
This initiative is part of a larger movement involving 10 lakh youth across 75 cities in India, aiming to raise awareness about substance abuse and promote a healthier, addiction-free lifestyle.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will flag off the run and has already unveiled the official jerseys for participants. During the jersey launch, he called upon students, youth groups, and citizens to actively participate in the event and support the message of a drug-free India.
The run is expected to witness massive participation from students, athletes, and community members, making it one of the largest awareness drives in the state. The Chief Minister emphasized that such events are crucial in shaping a responsible and health-conscious generation.
