Jharsuguda (Bijay Shankar Dash): The traffic rule violators in Jharsuguda now face the heat as district police launch a strong and visible crackdown on reckless bikers and noise polluters. What began as a “cool trend” among some youths riding high-speed bikes with modified silencers has turned into a major law-and-order concern. Loud bullet sounds echo through the city every evening, disturbing residents and triggering public outrage.
After Orissa Mirror reported the rising menace of modified silencers last Saturday, Superintendent of Police Gundala Reddy Raghavendra immediately ordered all police stations in the district to act tough. He made it clear officers must penalize any biker using a modified silencer or violating traffic norms, and seize their vehicles on the spot. Responding fast, the Town Police seized 19 bullets, Belpahar Police 2, and Brajrajnagar Police 4 within just a day of the report.
SP Raghavendra firmly declared that traffic rule violators in Jharsuguda will face strict legal action, regardless of their influence or background. He stressed that enforcing traffic discipline protects both public safety and civic peace. The police also urged residents to support the campaign by reporting offenders through the 112 helpline or at the nearest police station.
With this bold move, the Jharsuguda Police send a clear message to road romeos and rash riders breaking the law might feel thrilling for a moment, but it leads to serious consequences. The campaign begins a new chapter in road safety and noise control, proving that true style comes from responsibility, not recklessness.
