As anticipation builds for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Jharsuguda on September 27, local authorities have rolled out a meticulous traffic and parking plan to manage the influx of attendees and maintain public safety.

The advisory, issued in light of the high-profile event, outlines specific deboarding points, parking zones, and restrictions to prevent congestion on key routes.

The visit is expected to draw large crowds for both the main event and a road show near the airport, prompting coordinated efforts from police and traffic officials.

Key arrangements include:

**Buses from Jharsuguda and Sambalpur:** Passengers will deboard at Panchapada Chhak, with vehicles directed to park along the State Highway (SH) side towards Sundargarh and Tangerpalli Ground.

**Buses from Sundargarh:** Deboarding at Saletikra Chhak (near Blue Bells School), followed by parking on the SH side towards BTM Chhak and BTM Ground.

**Buses for the Airport Road Show:** Deboarding exclusively at Airport Chhak, with parking allocated on the Old SH from Talpatia Chhak to Airport Chhak, as well as from Talpatia Chhak to Airport Police Station.

**VIP Pass Holders:** Deboard at Saletikra Chhak and park at Saletikra Ground in front of Blue Bells School for priority access.

**Two-Wheelers for the Event:** Designated parking at Blue Bells School field.

**Other Two-Wheelers and Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) for the Event:** As per space availability at Blue Bells School, Saletikra Ground, and Panchapada PHC Ground.

**Two-Wheelers for the Road Show:** Parking at Durlaga Chhak, the adjoining village road, and the Gram Panchayat (GP) office.

**Cultural Troupes’ Vehicles:** Reserved spots at BTM Ground.

A strict no-parking policy has been enforced along the SH for unauthorised vehicles, with only event-bound ones permitted. Attendees are advised to carry necessary passes and comply with on-ground police instructions to avoid penalties or delays.

The event underscores Jharsuguda’s growing prominence in national discourse, promising boosts to local infrastructure and community spirit.
