New Delhi/Jharsuguda : In a significant move to highlight grassroots progress and developmental milestones, Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy met with BJP National President and Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, and BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal in New Delhi, presenting a comprehensive report card of his first year in office.
During his two-day visit to the national capital, MLA Tripathy submitted a detailed performance booklet, showcasing the achievements made under his leadership in Jharsuguda. The presentation included key infrastructure developments, healthcare upgrades, educational initiatives, and youth employment drives that have collectively transformed the district’s civic landscape.
₹4 crore sanctioned for the transformation of the sacred Baba Jhadeswar Temple, reinforcing cultural heritage. CT scan facility made operational at Jharsuguda District Headquarters Hospital. A six-bed ICU inaugurated at the main hospital. New blood bank commissioned. Mangal Bazaar Hospital restored to full functionality. Career counseling programs initiated by the district administration, benefiting over 15,000 students. Job fair organized, leading to employment for 300 local youths. ₹50 crore sanctioned for road upgrades across the district, including the OMP-Bhandarpada Road. ₹70 crore allocated for the Malimunda Cricket Stadium. ₹15 crore sanctioned for a new stadium in Kantapali. Wells dug and ponds rejuvenated to combat water scarcity in rural regions.

Global tender to be floated within two months for the Jharsuguda Master City Plan. Land transfer process underway for a 100-bed ESIS Hospital in Beke, Jharsuguda.
MLA Tripathy’s report received appreciation from the party’s national leaders. He emphasized that these achievements are the result of close coordination between the district administration, state leadership, and the support of the central government.
