Talcher, Odisha : As part of observing the service aspect of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday, the BJP has launched a series of activities under the ongoing initiative from September 17 to October 2. On Friday, the Talcher BJP Municipal Mandal organized a Swachh Bharat Talcher program at the Talcher Bus Stand, demonstrating the party’s commitment to cleanliness and community service.
Under the leadership of Mandal President Rajesh Dalai, BJP workers actively swept, cleaned, and ensured proper sanitation at the bus stand. The event witnessed participation from District BJP President Jajati Patnaik, Zonal Media Cell Coordinator Parsuram Barik, and senior leaders including Jitendra Das, Manoj Pradhan, Daya Sagar Mishra, Purna Chandra Behera, Shiva Naik, Vijay Naik, Khetrabasi Naik, and Sankalp Sahu, Jaga Behera. Many other party workers joined hands to make the cleanliness drive impactful and visible.
Highlighting the significance of community engagement, leaders emphasized that such initiatives not only enhance public spaces but also promote the values of public service and civic responsibility. The Swachh Bharat Talcher program aims to inspire citizens to participate actively in keeping their surroundings clean and hygienic, in alignment with Prime Minister Modi’s vision of a cleaner and healthier India.
The BJP reiterated that such service drives during the PM’s birthday week reflect the party’s dedication to social welfare and the larger goals of the Swachh Bharat mission, motivating local communities to contribute consistently to sustainable cleanliness practices.
