Mumbai : Suhana Khan called her brother Aryan Khan “Always number 1” following the success of his directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
Suhana posted a picture with Aryan on Instagram, followed by a throwback photo of little Aryan with their father, Shah Rukh Khan. She also shared a poster of The Ba**ds of Bollywood* and a clip from one of the show’s scenes.
In the caption, Suhana wrote, “Always been number 1,” followed by a black heart emoji.
Lakshya, who plays the lead role of Aasmaan Singh, said the drama’s story felt deeply rooted.
During an exclusive interaction with IANS, he said, “I felt a strong connection with the material and the script. We received the script later, after the casting. When I first got the scene for the audition — the one in the trailer where I speak to Sahher Bambba’s character and say, ‘Sitaare toh bahut hin par Aasmaan ek hi hai’ — it felt very personal.”
Raghav Juyal, who plays Parvaiz in The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, called working on the show a “liberating experience.”
He said the show allowed him to express things he found difficult to share personally.
Speaking with IANS, Raghav added, “I could express myself through my art and craft. As actors, we communicate our voice through our characters. This show gave me a chance to express things I can’t say otherwise. I felt very liberated as an actor and an artiste.”
