The artwork features the message “Congrats! Bharat Ki Nari Shakti”, highlighting the strength and spirit of Indian women. Pattnaik built a six-foot-long sand bat using five tons of sand and decorated it with hundreds of cricket balls to symbolize teamwork, passion, and victory.

Speaking about his creation, Sudarsan Pattnaik said, “India’s Women’s Cricket Team made history by winning the 2025 ICC World Cup, and their performance inspired me deeply. Through this sand sculpture, I salute their power and perseverance a true reflection of Nari Shakti.”

India secured its first-ever Women’s World Cup title on Sunday night by defeating South Africa by 52 runs at DY Patil Stadium. Deepti Sharma’s five-wicket haul and Shafali Verma’s all-round brilliance led the team to a dominant win, thrilling millions of fans across the nation.

Pattnaik’s sand creation has drawn huge crowds at Puri Beach, where locals and tourists continue to capture photos with the artwork. The sculpture stands as a powerful tribute to women’s empowerment and the pride of Indian cricket.
