Jharsuguda, Odisha : The Saraswati Club in Malimunda, Jharsuguda, organized a vibrant Nuakhai celebration, bringing together families and community members. Former MLA Tankadhar Tripathy attended as the chief guest, emphasizing that Nuakhai is not just a festival but a tradition that unites families.
Tripathy highlighted that the festival is celebrated not only in Odisha but across India and abroad. The event also saw participation from Trinath Gual, President of District Bar Association, Councilor Kailash Nanda, City Committee President Bimalendu Bhol, Ashish Nayak, and other dignitaries, who shared insights on the significance of Nuakhai.
The program was smoothly managed by Arjun Jaipuria along with Badal Urmal, Vivek Urmal, Nikesh Urmal, and Karan Singh, ensuring a seamless celebration. Residents expressed joy as they participated in cultural activities, traditional rituals, and festive gatherings that marked the essence of Nuakhai in Jharsuguda.
