Los Angeles : Pop sensation Rihanna has completed 20 years in Hollywood, marking the milestone with a heartfelt message of gratitude to her fans and colleagues.
The global superstar, who rose to fame in 2005 with her debut single Pon de Replay, shared an emotional video recap of her journey on X (formerly Twitter). Alongside the post, she reflected on the sacrifices and triumphs of her career.
“Twenty years ago, I left my country, my culture, my food, and my family to begin this journey. Many of you have been with me from the very beginning, while others joined along the way. I’m forever grateful. Each of you played a crucial role in where this journey has taken me,” Rihanna wrote.
Expressing her gratitude, she added: “Thank you for the greatest first 20 years ever! From die-hard fans and hardworking teams to mentors, execs, DJs, choreographers, designers, photographers, journalists, and brands — you all gave me strength and opportunities when it wasn’t always easy. I thank God, who has been generous to me. The glory belongs to Him.”
