Patna: Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi sharply attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Election Commission of India during a rally in Kishanganj. He accused them of “vote theft.” The Congress leader made the remarks ahead of the second phase of polling in Bihar.
Rahul Gandhi repeated his Rahul Gandhi vote chori allegation, claiming authorities stole votes in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Madhya Pradesh. He warned that Bihar could face similar attempts. “Why are these people silent about my allegations? Our allegations were correct that is why they stay silent. They are truly vote thieves,” he told the crowd.
He also accused BJP leaders of voting from two states. Rahul Gandhi blamed Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for manipulating elections. He said their silence confirmed the truth of his claims. “A thief steals, lives in fear, and eventually gets caught. One day, they will surely be caught,” he added.
Rahul Gandhi criticized Bihar’s unemployment and youth migration. He recalled the state’s historic prominence, citing Nalanda University as a global educational hub. He contrasted it with today’s challenges, including corruption and repeated exam paper leaks.
With polling set for November 11 across 20 districts, Rahul Gandhi urged voters to support Congress and RJD candidates in the Grand Alliance. His strong rhetoric has drawn national attention to the Rahul Gandhi vote chori allegation and sparked debate about election transparency in India.
