New Delhi : In a powerful demonstration of collaborative governance, Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia recently held an interactive session with key stakeholders including law enforcement agencies, financial institutions, telecom service providers (TSPs), and vigilant citizens to review the real-world impact of the Sanchar Saathi platform.
The Minister heard firsthand accounts of how the initiative is transforming India’s telecom safety landscape—from recovering thousands of lost mobile devices to enabling swift reporting of fraud. Citizens and officials alike credited the platform for helping identify and disconnect lakhs of fraudulent connections, disrupting cyber fraud networks across the country.
The session underscored the growing public trust in the platform, emphasizing how collective action and technological innovation are making India’s digital ecosystem safer and more resilient.
Sanchar Saathi, launched by the Department of Telecommunications, continues to emerge as a critical tool in empowering users and safeguarding digital identities in an increasingly connected world.
