New Delhi: PM Modi birthday wishes CM Dhami on his special day, praising the Uttarakhand Chief Minister for his commendable efforts toward the state’s all-round development.
Born on September 16, 1975, in Pithoragarh district, Dhami comes from a family with an Army background. He completed his schooling in Khatima and began his political journey in 1990 with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the BJP. Rising steadily through the ranks, Dhami was sworn in as Uttarakhand’s 10th Chief Minister on July 3, 2021, becoming the youngest to hold the office at just 45.

The Prime Minister’s wishes were echoed by senior Union ministers, who lauded Dhami’s leadership and contribution to Devbhoomi.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah said:
“Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Pushkar Singh Dhami. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, you are continuously working for the welfare of the poor along with the progress of Devbhoomi. I pray to Baba Kedarnath ji for your healthy, happy, and long life.”
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also praised Dhami’s work:
“His commitment towards strengthening the identity of Devbhoomi and ensuring the state’s steady development is commendable. May he be blessed with good health, long life, and continued success in serving the people of Uttarakhand.”
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari too joined in, wishing Dhami “excellent health, long and blissful life.”
