Patna: Bihar gears up for a high-stakes political showdown between the NDA and the INDIA bloc. Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches the Bharatiya Janata Party’s election campaign. The PM Modi Bihar elections campaign begins as he pays floral tributes at the birthplace of Bharat Ratna and socialist icon Karpoori Thakur in Samastipur.
After that, PM Modi, as part of his Bihar elections campaign, addresses two big rallies one in Samastipur at 12:15 p.m. and another in Begusarai at 2 p.m. These events boost BJP workers and set the tone for the party’s Assembly campaign.
Karpoori Thakur, a former Chief Minister of Bihar, received the Bharat Ratna earlier this year. By starting here, PM Modi honors Thakur’s legacy and strengthens his connection with the people of Bihar. The PM Modi Bihar elections campaign is set to resonate with the local populace.
Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah leads the BJP’s campaign in other parts of the state. As the PM Modi Bihar elections campaign continues, he will address rallies in Siwan and Buxar. This marks his second visit to Bihar this month. Moreover, the BJP’s state team has mobilized workers and prepared to ensure large crowds at both leaders’ events.
Earlier, in a meeting with party workers under the “Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot Yuva Samvad” programme, PM Modi attacked the Opposition. He urged workers to remind young voters about the “dark days of Jungle Raj.” He added that Bihar’s people still remember that period and will not forgive those responsible.
PM Modi also criticized the Grand Alliance, which named Tejashwi Yadav as its Chief Ministerial candidate. He called it a “Lathbandhan” (stick alliance) instead of a “Mahagathbandhan.” Furthermore, he pointed out that several senior leaders face corruption cases and remain out on bail.
Highlighting progress, the Prime Minister said Bihar advances under stable governance. “Hospitals are rising, schools are expanding, and new railway lines improve connectivity,” he said. This clearly shows the strength of good governance.
In addition, PM Modi expressed confidence that Bihar’s youth now feel hopeful about their future. He also stated that the NDA’s return to power on November 14 will bring a new era of women’s empowerment in the state.
As a result, Bihar’s political temperature rises rapidly while Modi and Shah campaign across the state. The NDA relies on its development record, whereas the INDIA bloc emphasizes promises of change. Overall, Bihar is ready for one of its most intense election battles in recent years.
