Bhubaneswar: Odisha Power Generation Corporation Ltd. (OPGC) has added another feather to its cap by winning the coveted ET PSU Silver Award in the category of ‘Leadership in Digital Transformation’ at the prestigious ET PSU Leadership & Excellence Awards 2025.
The award ceremony, held on June 19 in New Delhi, witnessed the participation of over 50 prominent public sector undertakings (PSUs) from across the country. OPGC stood out for its innovative approach to digitalisation in the power sector, earning accolades from industry leaders and the esteemed jury panel.
The company’s deployment of OSI PI Historian, real-time analytics, and advanced process automation technologies has significantly enhanced plant operations and efficiency. These initiatives have not only streamlined internal processes but have also set new benchmarks for digital excellence in the energy sector.
The award was received on behalf of OPGC by Mr. Sudhakar Swain, General Manager (Operations), and Mr. Pravupada Acharya, Manager (Engineering & Efficiency). Senior leadership, including Mr. K. R. Pandu, Managing Director, Mr. A. R.
