Bhubaneswar, Odisha : The 40th Annual General Meeting of the All Odisha Weighbridge Science Officers’ Association took place at the Weighbridge Science Directorate auditorium in Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar, where Minister Shri Krushna Chandra Patra highlighted the need to improve Odisha Weighbridge Science Department efficiency and urged officials to make the department more proactive and accountable.
Minister Patra encouraged all officials and staff to actively collaborate and implement measures that enhance departmental efficiency. He stressed that conducting regular inspections and monitoring food supply and consumer welfare systems would directly benefit the citizens. He also highlighted the need for transparency and accountability in all departmental operations.
All divisional officers of the state attended the meeting. Additional Controller Shri Trilochan Dash, Senior Joint Controller Shri Harishankar Pattnayak, and Controller Shri Bishi Keshan Dehuri advised officials on improving work efficiency and executing responsibilities effectively.
During the session, the Association’s General Secretary Smt. Sagarika Sabat and President Shri Anjan Kumar Jena presented various demands and recommendations to the Minister. Deputy Secretary Shri Priyabrata Jena managed the proceedings and ensured smooth coordination throughout the meeting.
Minister Patra emphasized that strengthening the Weighbridge Science Department would directly improve food supply management and consumer welfare in Odisha. He called on all officials to actively implement departmental programs to provide maximum benefits to citizens.
