In a sweeping crackdown on alleged corruption, the Odisha Vigilance Department on Friday launched simultaneous raids at nine properties linked to Antaryami Sahu, Forest Range Officer of Kashipur, Rayagada district.
The operation stems from serious allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA).
🔍 Multi-District Operation Under Judicial Warrant
Acting on search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Jeypore (Koraput), a high-powered team of seven DSPs, seven Inspectors, nine ASIs, and supporting personnel executed coordinated searches across four districts—Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, and Rayagada.

Vigilance teams raided both residential and official premises, including:
• 🏠 Two buildings at Baliguda, Kandhamal (one registered under Sahu’s spouse)
• 🏡 House of in-laws at Karadapada, Nayagarh
• 🏘️ Buildings at Sraniketa and Daringbadi, Kandhamal
• 🏚️ Property at Jogiapalli, Kukudakhandi Tahasil, Ganjam
• 🏠 Cousin’s residence at Domuhani, Bhanjanagar, Ganjam
• 🏢 Office chamber at Forest Range Office, Kashipur, Rayagada
• 🏠 Government quarter near the Forest Range Office, Kashipur
📁 Seizures & Investigation Status
Officials confirmed the recovery of critical documents, including bank passbooks, investment bonds, and financial records. The total valuation of assets and any cash seized will be disclosed upon completion of the search and verification process.
