Cuttack, Odisha : The Odisha Board of Secondary Education has officially declared the results of the ongoing 2025 Matric Supplementary Examinations. The results were released today at the board office in Cuttack, and students can also access their scores online via the official website after 2 PM. Additionally, students can check their results through SMS for convenience.
This year, 3,457 students appeared for the Matric Supplementary Exam, of which 1,844 students successfully passed, recording a pass percentage of 56.23%. The Open School Second Examination saw 10,809 students taking the exams, with 5,973 students passing, marking a pass rate of 55.26%.
Board Chairman Srikant Tarai informed that students can download their digital certificates starting next Monday. Hard copies of the certificates will be available at their respective schools after one month. This digital initiative aims to make access to results and certificates faster and more convenient for students across the state.
The Matric Supplementary and Open School examinations began on June 30, 2025, and concluded on July 10, 2025. The evaluation process started on July 14 and was completed by July 20, ensuring that results were processed efficiently within two weeks.
The Odisha Board emphasized that these supplementary exams provide a second chance for students who could not pass the main exams earlier, helping them stay on track academically and continue their educational journey without delay. The board also urged students to carefully check their marks and report any discrepancies immediately.
With the availability of results through SMS, online portals, and upcoming digital certificates, the board has streamlined result dissemination, making it more accessible and student-friendly. Students and parents have expressed appreciation for the quick release of results and the clarity provided regarding pass percentages and certificate collection.
