In a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle, the Odisha Government’s General Administration & Public Grievance Department has announced a series of high-level transfers and postings within the Odisha Administrative Service (OAS).

The reshuffle spans critical departments including Parliamentary Affairs, Health & Family Welfare, Higher Education, and Urban Development.

Key changes include:

  • Shri Sibo Narayan Sahu, formerly Deputy Director General (Admin.) at Gopabandhu Academy of Administration, is now Special Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs Department.
  • Dr. Monalisa Lenka replaces Shri Sahu as Deputy Director General (Admin.) at Gopabandhu Academy.
  • Smt. Soojata Mesra will continue as Special Secretary in the ST & SC Development Department, as her earlier transfer to Higher Education has been revoked.
  • Shri Sashank Sekhar Dash is appointed Additional Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department.
  • Smt. Mamata Rani Naik moves to Housing & Urban Development as Joint Secretary.
  • Shri Chinmaya Kumar Acharya joins Odisha State Medical Corporation as General Manager on foreign service terms.
  • Shri Ashok Kumar Das becomes Deputy Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.

Additionally, previously announced postings for Smt. Dharitri Mishra, Shri Prafulla Kumar Swain, and Shri Sanjay Kumar Pratihari have been cancelled, allowing them to continue in their current roles.

This reshuffle reflects the state’s strategic approach to strengthening administrative efficiency across key sectors.
