The MoUs with Global Access to Talent from India (GATI) Foundation, JustJobs Network, and the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) reaffirm the State’s commitment not only to expanding global opportunities but also to strengthening evidence-based skill policies and creating pathways in emerging industries, as part of its mission to Odisha build future-ready workforce.

Speaking at the event, the Hon’ble Minister said, “Under the leadership of our Hon’ble Chief Minister, skill development is central to our journey towards Viksit Odisha. Therefore, we must equip our youth not only for opportunities in our state and country but also to succeed globally.” He added, “These MoUs are more than partnerships; moreover, they invest in the future of Odisha’s youth. Consequently, we are shaping futures, not just creating jobs, and building a confident, future-ready Odisha of tomorrow.”

The three collaborations offer distinct advantages:

• Global Mobility: The GATI Foundation will train Odisha’s youth for international markets. In addition, it positions the State as a hub of skilled global professionals.
• Evidence-Based Policy: JustJobs Network will enhance research-driven, inclusive skilling policies to ensure alignment between aspirations and opportunities.
• Sunrise Sector Skilling: FDDI (Hyderabad Campus) will introduce non-leather footwear training, which opens new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in a high-growth sector.

Shri Arnab Bhattacharya, CEO, GATI Foundation; Ms. Sabina Dewan, Founder & Executive Director, JustJobs Network; and Dr. Narasimhugari T. L. Reddy, Executive Director, FDDI Hyderabad Campus, signed the MoUs. Additionally, the event featured Shri Bhupendra Singh Poonia, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, SDTE; and Ms. Rashmita Panda, Director, Skill Development-cum-Employment & CEO, OSDA & WSC.
