Bhubaneswar, Odisha: The Nuapada bypoll political fight stands out as a crucial battleground in Odisha. Three major parties are preparing aggressive strategies to secure the seat. The ruling BJP has already kicked off its groundwork to ensure victory. Meanwhile, the party leadership gears up for a high-pitched campaign in the days ahead.

According to party sources, the BJP has framed a detailed strategy to strengthen its presence in the constituency. Their goal is to mobilize voters across rural and semi-urban pockets. The campaign will gain momentum as senior leaders and ministers join grassroots-level events.

Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra will lead the BJP’s outreach in Nuapada. He will be addressing workers’ meetings and public gatherings across multiple villages. The party plans to highlight both state and central government initiatives. Also, BJP leaders believe direct communication with voters at the village level will create stronger connect ahead of polling day.

The party also plans a series of rallies, door-to-door campaigns, and public interactions to underline key issues such as rural development, infrastructure, employment, and welfare schemes. Sources mention that leaders in the Nuapada bypoll political fight will give special focus to first-time voters and women beneficiaries of central schemes like Ujjwala, PM Awas Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat.

Opposition BJD also prepares to intensify campaigns. During the Nuapada bypoll political fight, the BJD will project its welfare programs and grassroots governance. Similarly, law and order, farmers’ problems, irrigation, and unemployment issues are likely to dominate the campaign.

The Congress plans to highlight local issues and position itself as a people-centric alternative. The party has framed a strategy to attract voters. Leaders will focus on exposing the failures of both BJP and BJD in the region. Consequently, in this Nuapada bypoll political fight, the campaign stresses local issues and people’s grievances. Congress aims to project itself as the true alternative for Nuapada voters.

Political observers opine that the Nuapada by-election will shape into a triangular contest. Each party tries to consolidate its base. While the BJP banks on its expanding network and central leadership’s popularity, the BJD leverages its strong rural presence. Meanwhile, the Congress, despite being organizationally weaker, hopes to make an impact by targeting dissatisfaction among certain voter segments. Therefore, the Nuapada by-election holds significant importance for all three major parties. It will set the tone for future electoral battles.
