Mumbai : Singer Neha Kakkar opened up about the deeply personal experience behind her latest track, “Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga”, from the upcoming movie “Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.”
On Monday, the film’s makers released the song on social media, featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa. The track portrays the film’s essence—a tale of love entangled with passion, pain, and betrayal. Neha Kakkar and Farhan Sabri performed the song, while DJ Chetas and Lijo George composed its music. The lyrics were written by Asim Raza and Sameer Anjaan.
Neha described the song as an emotional journey. She said, “Bol Kaffara Kya Hoga carries the weight of love and longing. Singing it touched me deeply because it speaks to anyone who has ever loved profoundly or lost someone. I am thrilled to see how strongly people are connecting with it already.”
Harshvardhan Rane promoted the song on Instagram, writing, “Deewanon ke aansoon se beh jaayega Jag Yaara, Bol Kaffara kya hoga! Full song out now on @playdmfofficial YouTube channel. #EkDeewaneKiDEEWANIYAT will release this #Diwali – 21st Oct, 2025.”
The romantic drama, directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, is produced by Anshul Garg under Desi Movies Factory and co-produced by Raghav Sharma. The film marks Harshvardhan Rane’s first on-screen collaboration with Sonam Bajwa. Initially scheduled for October 2, the movie will now hit theaters on 21st October 2025.
Anshul Garg described the film as “Deewaniyat explores extreme and unforgettable emotions. The teaser captures some of that intensity, and I hope audiences resonate with it as much as they do with the music.”
