Bhubaneswar : The Odisha Vigilance Department today conducted simultaneous raids at multiple properties linked to Rajkishore Jena, Assistant Engineer of R&B Division-2, Bhubaneswar, over allegations of amassing disproportionate assets.

The high-profile operation, involving 7 DSPs and 5 Inspectors, covered 10 different locations, including:
- A three-storeyed house in Niladri Vihar,
- A flat in the Cosmo Polis apartment complex,
- A commercial shop in Symphony Mall at Pahala,
- His ancestral home in Nayagarh,
- His in-laws’ residence,
- And his office at the R&B Division.
The raids were launched following credible information indicating the accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income. Vigilance officials are examining documents, financial records, and investment portfolios tied to the accused.
This comes just weeks after BMC Executive Engineer Jagannath Pattnaik was caught in a similar Vigilance raid that lasted over 10 hours, exposing multiple bank accounts, heavy investments in mutual funds, and unexplained wealth.
In another major anti-corruption breakthrough earlier this year, Vigilance arrested a DFO who owned 115 plots, adding to a growing list of government officials under scrutiny.
