Jharsuguda, Odisha: The Jharsuguda district administration recently organized Jharsuguda School Awareness Campaign aimed at bringing students who have dropped out back to school. The event saw a vibrant awareness rally starting from Manmohan School to Purunabasti PM School, flagged off by MLA Tankadhar Tripathy.
The initiative focuses on reintegrating students who left school midway and emphasizes the importance of continuous education. Speaking at the event,
MLA Tripathy urged parents to ensure their children do not miss out on education and highlighted that every child is a vital part of the learning community.
District Education Officer Dr. Radhakanta Gartia presided over the program, emphasizing the campaign’s goal to address school dropouts and strengthen education at the grassroots level. He announced that the district has identified 302 students who had left school and that authorities will work to ensure all of them return to classrooms in the coming days.
The Jharsuguda School Awareness Campaign also focuses on raising awareness among families about the long-term benefits of education. The program also stressed that children’s future depends on their active participation in school, and that the community must support them in this journey.
With coordinated efforts by school authorities, the district administration, and local leaders, Jharsuguda aims to reduce school dropouts and create a strong educational foundation for all children.
