Jharsuguda, Odisha : The newly constructed District Excise Office at Beheramal, located adjacent to the district court, was officially inaugurated this morning. MLA Tankadhar Tripathy attended as the chief guest and formally opened the office in a ceremonial event.
During his address, MLA Tripathy urged excise officials to take all necessary measures to completely curb illegal liquor sales in the district. He highlighted that the newly inaugurated office will serve as a center for accountability, transparency, and good governance for the residents of Jharsuguda.
The inauguration ceremony saw participation from several senior officials, including District Collector Kunal Motiram Chavan, DFO Ashok Manu Bhat, Excise SP Prabhat Kumar Sethi, Inspector Seli Ekka, BJP district general secretary Premasen Ray, Jharsuguda Mandal President Hem Ranjan Singh, Babul Singh, Yuva Morcha President Vivek Shrivas, along with numerous departmental employees and party workers.
MLA Tripathy stressed that the excise department must ensure strict action against violations while providing efficient and responsible governance to the public. The new office is expected to strengthen monitoring and enforcement efforts and play a pivotal role in maintaining law, order, and transparency across Jharsuguda district.
