New Delhi: India Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Guinness Records achievement has set a new benchmark in women’s health and empowerment. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister J. P. Nadda announced that India earned three Guinness World Records titles under the nationwide ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’. This showcases the country’s progress in preventive healthcare.
Sharing his excitement on X, Nadda wrote,
“A Record-Breaking Milestone for Women’s Health! India achieves three Guinness World Records titles under the nationwide #SwasthNariSashaktParivarAbhiyaan, reaffirming our commitment to preventive and women-centric healthcare.”
The campaign ran from September 17 to October 2, 2025, alongside Poshan Maah. It focused on nutrition and wellness for women, adolescent girls, and children. Health workers organised 19.7 lakh camps across all districts. They reached over 11 crore people, creating one of India’s largest health movements.
Nadda praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision. He said the campaign reflects the spirit of Seva and Bharat First, moving India closer to a Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar, and Viksit Bharat.
The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan is led by the Health and Family Welfare Ministry with support from the Women and Child Development Ministry. It strengthens healthcare delivery through collaboration between government agencies, private hospitals, and local health workers.
This initiative complements national programmes like Mission Shakti and Poshan 2.0, which address malnutrition and women’s safety. Additionally, it promotes early detection and treatment through screenings for anaemia, diabetes, hypertension, TB, sickle cell disease, and women-specific conditions such as breast and cervical cancer. Special counselling sessions in tribal areas ensured healthcare reached every corner of the nation.
With this achievement, India Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Guinness Records campaign demonstrates how community-driven health initiatives can transform lives and strengthen the foundation of a healthier, empowered India.
