New Delhi: Monsoon mayhem continues to wreak havoc across several parts of India, and the national capital region is no exception. Torrential rains have caused severe waterlogging in multiple areas of Delhi and NCR, including Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Greater Noida, throwing daily life out of gear.

Several roads are submerged, and even the runway at the Delhi airport has been affected by accumulated water, leading to delays in flight operations. The situation has prompted major airlines—IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Air India—to issue travel advisories for passengers.

IndiGo, in a social media post, warned travelers of possible delays due to heavy rainfall and resultant traffic congestion:
“Due to anticipated heavy rainfall in Delhi, we foresee delays in reaching the airport. While we can’t control the skies, we are doing everything we can to ensure a smooth experience on the ground. Please check your flight status before leaving home and consider reaching the airport early.”
SpiceJet and Air India have also urged passengers to check real-time flight information and plan their travel accordingly to avoid last-minute hassles.
With operations partially impacted, authorities are monitoring the situation closely as more rain is forecast in the coming days.
