Jharsuguda, Odisha : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jharsuguda today organized the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme, celebrating India’s pride and paying tribute to the nation’s freedom fighters. A grand Tricolour Rally was taken out from the Old Bus Stand to Manmohan M.E. School, drawing enthusiastic participation from locals.
Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy attended as the chief guest, leading the rally and delivering a passionate address. He highlighted India’s historic triumph in Operation Sindoor, stating,
“Today, the glory and victory saga of India echoes across the world. Indians everywhere feel proud. In the fight against terrorism, India has taken decisive action, and our soldiers’ bravery makes every citizen proud.”
He further reminded that August holds special significance in India’s history, marking the month when the country won independence from British rule after countless sacrifices. “Today, under the Tricolour, we remember those sacrifices and march forward with pride,” he said.
The event saw the presence of District President Raghunandan Panda, Mandal President Bimalendu Bhol, senior leaders Arvind Pathak, Sunil Panda, Santosh Yadav, Purushottam Thirani, Yuva Morcha President Vivek Srivas, District General Secretary Prem Sen Ray, Vijay Sharma, along with hundreds of party workers and citizens.
The rally, brimming with patriotic fervor, painted Jharsuguda streets in the colours of the Tiranga, symbolizing unity, sacrifice, and pride.
