Bhubaneswar, Odisha: Odisha will host the Global Energy Leaders Summit Odisha 2025 on December 6-7, jointly organized by the Tony Blair Institute and the Odisha Government. The summit will bring together eminent personalities from India and abroad, including former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, former Finland Prime Minister and TBI Strategic Counselor Sanna Marin, and energy ministers from the UAE, Singapore, and Bhutan. Energy ministers from all Indian states will also participate and address key sessions during the Global Energy Leaders Summit Odisha 2025.
Deputy Chief Minister and Energy Minister Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo chaired a preparatory meeting for the Global Energy Leaders Summit Odisha. He said the conference will provide an excellent platform for investment in India’s power sector and help build a strong Odisha by balancing economic growth with ecological sustainability.
The two-day summit will feature multiple sessions on energy innovations, sustainable development, and global energy policies. The Global Energy Leaders Summit Odisha will also allow participants to get a glimpse of Odisha’s rich art, culture, and history through curated exhibitions.
The preparatory meeting included Principal Secretary, Energy Department Shri Vishal Kumar Dev, CMD OPTCL Shri Bhaskar Jyoti Sharma, MD Gridco Shri Satya Priya Rath, and TBI representatives Vivek Agrawal, Ninad Sagar, and Pierre Walsh (virtually) as part of the Global Energy Leaders Summit Odisha preparation.
