Bhubaneswar, Odisha : In a shocking incident on Thursday, Shamapur in Bharatpur police limits witnessed a violent attack that has left a woman critically injured. The victim, identified as Binodini Rath, sustained deep wounds to her head, arm, and back after being struck three times with a sharp weapon.
According to reports, the dispute began when a food delivery was delayed. An argument broke out between the woman and the delivery boy, which quickly escalated. Enraged, the delivery boy allegedly attacked her, leaving her in a pool of blood.
Binodini Rath was rushed to a private hospital in critical condition. Police have detained the accused delivery boy and are interrogating him based on the complaint filed.
