Mumbai : Actress Fatima Sana Shaikh, known for her versatility and candid personality, recently gave fans a glimpse of her lighter side. The Dangal star admitted in a humorous Instagram post that her “default expression” often comes across as grumpy.
She shared a series of intense pictures from her shoot in Leh and captioned them: “Default expression: khadoos!! Aur Tumhara?” The post instantly struck a chord with fans, who responded with relatable comments.
Fatima often shares candid moments with her followers. On August 29, she posted a fun group photo with Bobby Deol, director Priyanka Ghose, and their team, teasing fans about their upcoming project. Adding her signature humor, she wrote: “@iambobbydeol has turned us into animals. @picsofpinks and I have turned him into a pookie.” The witty caption cleverly connected Bobby Deol’s blockbuster Animal to their behind-the-scenes fun.
Hints about the project grew stronger when a member of Priyanka Ghose’s team uploaded an in-flight picture from their travel to Leh with the tag #SetsofPinks. Priyanka reshared it, further fueling curiosity about the project.
Fatima has built a strong reputation for her diverse roles. She began her career as a child artist in Chachi 420 (1997) and One 2 Ka 4. She rose to fame as wrestler Geeta Phogat in Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Later, she impressed audiences in Ludo, Ajeeb Daastaans, Modern Love Mumbai, Dhak Dhak, and Sam Bahadur, where she portrayed former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Next, Fatima will star in Gustaakh Ishq (formerly Ul Jalool Ishq) opposite Vijay Varma. Directed by Vibhu Puri and produced by Manish Malhotra’s Stage 5 Production, the film also features Naseeruddin Shah and Sharib Hashmi.
