Mumbai : Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar shared his disciplined lifestyle tip, emphasizing why finishing dinner by 6.30 PM is crucial for good health. During a recent book launch, he explained how this habit keeps the stomach healthy and prevents diseases.
“Why is it important to eat at 6.30 PM? Your eyes, hands, and legs rest at night—but your stomach keeps working if you eat late,” Akshay said.
He explained that eating early gives the stomach time to digest before bedtime.
“By 9–10 PM, your stomach rests. It’s simple but effective,” he added.
Akshay also revealed his weekly fasting routine:
“I fast on Mondays. I eat my last meal on Sunday and continue fasting until Tuesday morning,” he said.
He believes this practice improves digestion and overall well-being.
Akshay will next appear in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features an ensemble cast including Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, and others.
Produced by Firoz A Nadiadwala under Base Industries Group, the movie will hit theaters during Christmas week on December 20, 2025.
With his disciplined lifestyle and focus on health, Akshay continues to inspire fans. His habits of eating early and fasting show that small daily routines can make a big difference.
