Bhubaneswar, Balanga, Odisha : A solemn moment unfolded on Monday as the mortal remains of the Balanga patient, who passed away during treatment in Delhi, arrived at Bhubaneswar airport. Deputy Chief Minister Parvati Parida led a dignified tribute, offering floral respects to the deceased and expressing heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.
The Deputy CM was joined by Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Pipili MLA Ashrit Patnaik, and Bhubaneswar (Ekamra) MLA Babu Singh during the tribute ceremony. Upon arrival, the body was immediately transported under tight security to the patient’s native village, Bayabar in Balanga, in a specially arranged convoy.
The final rites are scheduled to be performed this morning in the village. The Deputy Chief Minister personally met the father of the deceased, extending support and sympathy on behalf of the government.
