Bhubaneswar: The Millennium City Cuttack is buzzing with preparations for Asia’s largest open trade fair – the historic Bali Yatra. As the countdown begins, the city turns into a hive of activity, showcasing culture, commerce, and heritage.
The district administration and local vendors are working tirelessly to set up stalls and pavilions along the scenic Mahanadi riverbank. Officials have planned extensive arrangements to attract global business partners and give Cuttack Bali Yatra 2025 a truly international dimension.

The grand annual fair will take place from November 5 to 12, 2025. It will transform the riverfront into a vibrant hub of art, culture, trade, and friendship.
In a historic move, Indonesia joins as the Partner Nation for Cuttack Bali Yatra 2025. The partnership adds global appeal to the event. It revives the ancient maritime and trade ties between Odisha (then Kalinga) and Indonesia. It also aims to deepen cultural and economic bonds between the two nations.
A special Indonesia Pavilion will highlight trade, tourism, and culture while strengthening ties between Indonesia and India. Visitors can explore traditional art forms, handicrafts, and interactive displays that celebrate shared heritage.
This year’s Bali Yatra will bring innovation with 3D screens, a 5D theatre, and immersive attractions that blend tradition with technology. Around 20 countries have confirmed their participation. They will showcase their products and culture at the fairgrounds.
The Cuttack district team has nearly completed plot markings and stage setups. The event will feature Odia folk artists, Bollywood performers, and cultural troupes from across the globe. Together, they will create a festival of music, colors, and emotions.
With Indonesia as the Partner Nation, Cuttack Bali Yatra 2025 celebrates the everlasting friendship between Odisha and Indonesia — bridged by the sea, united by heritage, and strengthened through trade and tradition.
