Bhubaneswar, Odisha: To ensure accountability and quality in the education Nayagarh District Administration has launched a strict monitoring drive. District Collector Akshay Sunil Agrawal and District Education Officer (DEO) Chittaranjan Panda have been surprisingly visiting different schools. They are monitoring the education system. In this regard, both District Collector and District Education Officer visited Mahipur High School and Chahali High School in Nuagaon Block. They reviewed the education system, management, and discipline of teachers and students.

During a surprise visit to a school, the collector and DEO monitored staff attendance and irregularities. They also checked the quality of the Mid-Day Meal (MDM) in the school. Collector Mr. Agrawal interacted with students and took classes. This was to know about the students' standards and the role of teachers. Taking the chalk and pen, the collector asked several questions related to. Mr. Agarwal assessed the existence and quality of computer education.
On the other hand, DEO Chittaranjan Panda examined the quality and preparedness of the Mid-Day Meal. Mr. Panda took the Mid-Day Meal along with students at lunchtime. He sat on the floor and ate the meal served to the students in the school campus. This was to test the taste, hygiene, and nutritional value.
Collector Mr. Agrawal said they have been emphasizing quality education. He mentioned they are taking steps to improve where necessary. Strict action will be taken against negligence.
DEO Chittaranjan Panda stated that surprise visit will be conducted time to time across the districts to streamline the system.. A special monitoring team to oversee the functioning of schools and ensure that all guidelines
