Bhubaneswar, Odisha : Odisha CM Mohan Majhi & BJP President Delhi visit drew attention, and Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari clarified its purpose. He said the visit aimed to hold discussions with central BJP leadership on governance, administrative strategies, and organizational matters.
Minister Pujari explained that state leadership routinely meets senior party officials in Delhi to align state and central policies effectively. He confirmed that the government has already begun filling key positions in state boards and corporations. “We have appointed the Chairpersons for the State Women Commission and the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights. We will announce names for other posts soon,” he added.
The Minister emphasized that the government plans to strengthen efficiency, transparency, and administrative effectiveness through this restructuring. He promised that officials would promptly fill the remaining vacancies, ensuring that state programs achieve their intended outcomes.
During the Delhi visit, the leadership also discussed policy planning, developmental projects, and improving coordination between state and central bodies. Minister Pujari highlighted that the visit demonstrates Odisha government’s commitment to proactive and accountable governance.
