Bhubaneswar, Odisha : Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari has responded to media queries regarding the recent visit of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and BJP State President Manmohan Samal to New Delhi.
Speaking to reporters, Minister Pujari stated that the visit is part of a “routine political process” aimed at holding discussions with the central BJP leadership. He emphasized that whenever state leadership visits Delhi, it is natural to meet with senior party leaders to discuss various governance and organizational matters.
Pujari also revealed that the process to fill key positions in state boards and corporations has already begun. “The appointment of the Chairpersons for the State Women Commission and the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has already been initiated,” he said, adding that names for other board and corporation posts will be announced in due course.
He assured that the remaining positions in various corporations and boards will also be filled soon, indicating a broader restructuring effort within the state administration under the new government.
