Bhubaneswar, Odisha : Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday led a massive ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally in Bayalish Mouza, Cuttack. The grand procession, stretching nearly 10 kilometres from Brahmapur Chhak to Kalapada, drew thousands of enthusiastic citizens waving the national flag and chanting slogans in praise of the nation.

The rally, organised as part of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, saw the Chief Minister riding in an open jeep, holding the Tricolour high. He was joined by hundreds of bikers carrying flags, while women along the route welcomed him with flowers and traditional diyas, creating a festive and patriotic atmosphere.

Speaking to the media at the conclusion of the event, CM Majhi said the Tricolour stands as a powerful symbol of the nation’s resolve, struggle, sacrifice, and unity.

“This rally is not just a celebration; it is a pledge to honour and protect the dignity of our national flag. Inspired by the call of our Hon’ble Prime Minister, this movement seeks to instil patriotism and reinforce the spirit of national integration,” the Chief Minister said.

He further emphasised that such rallies play a vital role in strengthening the bonds of unity among citizens across the country.

The event witnessed the participation of Cuttack Sadar MLA Prakash Sethi, local public representatives, and a large number of residents. Many participants expressed pride in being part of an event that not only celebrated the country’s heritage but also inspired collective responsibility towards preserving its values.

The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, launched nationwide, encourages every household to hoist the national flag, reflecting the collective spirit of independence and unity in diversity. Thursday’s rally in Cuttack stood as one of the largest such gatherings in Odisha, symbolising the state’s fervent contribution to the national celebration.
