Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday conducted the 13th edition of his public grievance redressal programme at the newly set-up grievance cell in Bhubaneswar Unit-2. The initiative saw a massive public turnout, with people lining up since morning to voice their concerns directly before the Chief Minister and Cabinet ministers.

CM Majhi personally interacted with specially-abled citizens waiting outside the cell, received their petitions, and ensured they were heard on priority. Registered complainants were then called inside for individual hearings. The Chief Minister directed concerned department Secretaries present to take immediate and effective steps on each grievance raised.
Alongside the Chief Minister, nine senior Cabinet ministers, including Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, Works and Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, and others, participated in the hearing. Senior officials, including the Additional Chief Secretary, were also present to facilitate swift action.
The CM’s assurance-laden conversations left many citizens visibly moved, with many describing the experience as a true reflection of good governance. Under the state’s Single Window Relief System, financial aid was extended immediately to three critically ill individuals today, while a dedicated team of senior doctors remained on standby for medical emergencies.
Since the beginning of the year, 51 patients have been provided with over ₹55 lakh in medical assistance through this system.
Today’s grievance cell also saw the participation of key ministers from diverse portfolios including Urban Development, Panchayati Raj, Higher Education, Commerce, Industries, MSME, Fisheries, and more demonstrating the government’s commitment to people-centric governance.
