Cuttack, Odisha : A shocking incident occurred in Chawliaganj, Cuttack, where a thief stole a scooter in broad daylight with surprising ease. The entire act was captured on CCTV, leaving locals alarmed.
The CCTV footage shows a man approaching the scooter calmly, examining the surroundings like a cautious passerby. Upon noticing that the keys were left in the scooter’s storage compartment, he quickly took them, started the scooter, and drove away without raising any suspicion.
The thief executed the theft in a calm, methodical manner, almost like a scene from a movie. He created no panic and displayed no haste, which has left the community concerned about increasing boldness among thieves.
Chawliaganj is generally considered a peaceful neighborhood. However, this incident has sparked fear and anxiety among residents, highlighting the need for increased vigilance.
The local police have registered a case against the unidentified suspect based on CCTV footage. Authorities are actively trying to identify and apprehend the thief.
