Mumbai : Netflix is set to stream Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, on September 18, and the makers have released a lively trailer teasing the upcoming film.
The story follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer striving to make it big in Bollywood. However, Aasmaan faces his toughest challenge yet when he is cast opposite Karishma (Sahher Bambba), the daughter of superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol). The situation intensifies with shrewd producer Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) and washed-up actor Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi) trying to complicate Aasmaan’s journey.
The trailer also teases a star-studded cameo lineup, including the three Khans appearing together for the first time, as well as Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Badshah, and Disha Patani.
Music plays a vital role in The Ba**ds of Bollywood*. The soundtrack, produced in collaboration with T-Series, is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with guest compositions from Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta.
The first song, “Badli Si Hawa Hai”, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Arijit Singh and Amira Gill, has already gained popularity. Another track, “Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri”, composed and arranged by Shashwat Sachdev, features Arijit Singh lending his melodious voice.
With its mix of humor, drama, and star power, Aryan Khan’s debut promises a high-octane tribute to Bollywood, keeping audiences hooked from the first frame to the last.
