Harbhanga/Boudh, Odisha: The Anti-Corruption Department organized an awareness program at the Multipurpose Flood Shelter in Harbhanga. This event was part of the Anti-Corruption Week in Harbhanga under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent Jagabandhu Ankaria. Sarpanch Shakuntala Behera attended as the chief guest. Along with her were Additional Group Development Officer Satya Priya Sahu, Harbhanga IIC Balmiki Pradhan, Higher Secondary School Chairman Himanshu Shekhar Raut, SBI Branch Manager Vivekananda Pattajoshi, and Assistant Teacher Subhendu Kumar Sahu from Harbhanga Nodal High School.
Speakers stressed that education plays a vital role in creating awareness during Anti-Corruption Week in Harbhanga. They urged citizens to stay informed about their rights and responsibilities. Furthermore, they encouraged transforming their mindset through education and standing firmly against corruption. They also encouraged mothers to lead this awareness movement in their communities.
Panchayat Executive Officer Dhutra Ranjan Pradhan, Revenue Inspector Pankaj Kanhar, Accountant and Data Collector Naveen Kumar Pradhan, Supply Assistant Pramod Kumar Pradhan, and social workers Prakash Behera and Babulal Behera took an active part in conducting the event.
Students, teachers, health workers, Anganwadi and ASHA workers, CRPs, MBKs, and women’s self-help group members joined the campaign as part of Anti-Corruption Week in Harbhanga. They shared their opinions on building a corruption-free society.
Gram Panchayat Extension Officer Yatindra Kumar Mishra delivered the welcome address. He introduced the guests and explained the goal of the awareness week. During the Anti-Corruption Week in Harbhanga, District Information and Public Relations Officer Ritakanti Dhoyarsingh led the anti-corruption pledge and thanked everyone for their participation.
The department announced that the next awareness drive will take place tomorrow at Rundi Mahul in Kantamal block.
