Boudh, Odisha: The district administration and Vigilance Department jointly organized a vibrant Anti-Corruption Awareness Rally in Boudh to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability among citizens. The rally began from the District Collector’s office, led by Collector Bibhuti Bhushan Nayak, who flagged off the event with the symbolic green flag.
Additional District Magistrate Aniruddha Pradhan, Sub Collector Binay Kumar Bhoi, Deputy Superintendent of Police Suresh Kumar Kahanr, and other senior officials, including Jagabandhu Angaria and Adarsha Police Station IIC Nalini Kanta Das, also joined the initiative.
The colorful rally passed through key locations in Boudh town, raising slogans and awareness messages against corruption before concluding at the Vigilance Office (Boudh Branch). Students, women from Mission Shakti groups, self-help groups, and members of ICDS actively participated, making it a spirited public movement.
DIPRO Ritakanti Baliar Singh, Social Welfare Officer Sagarika Dutta, and Vigilance staff including Makardhwaj Dishiri, Har Prasad Paramguru Mahapatra, and Palak Behera, Gopabandhu Swain coordinated the event.
Speakers at the rally emphasized that collective honesty and vigilance are key to building a corruption-free society. The event truly reflected the district’s united stand against unethical practices, inspiring youth and citizens alike to uphold transparency and truth.
